tmi is the dedicated investment function of retail consultancy specialist Tushingham Moore LLP.

The department has a transactional focus in respect of all aspects of retail investment for a wide range of clients, including institutions; property companies; overseas investors and high net worth individuals. We are market leaders in retail investment, having concluded over £850m of investment transactions for clients since 2003; and are one of the few true specialists in foodstore sector development and investment.

The tmi team has a detailed transactional knowledge of all investment purchase and funding structures applicable to a wide range of investment property, including shopping centres; retail warehouse parks; high street retail; leisure parks; offices and industrial accommodation. We have a national sphere of activity and deal experience of a wide range of lot sizes from £250,000 to £85m.

Approximately £40 billion of purchase situations have been sourced and considered for clients since formation of the department which, coupled with our detailed knowledge and direct experience of the majority of the UK's principal investing locations, enables tmi to provide market leading advice to clients.

We consider the tmi team to be experts in retail property, having worked within a 22 man retail consultancy since 2003, across 85 shopping centre and retail park instructions; over 100 foodstore situations and in excess of 5,000 unit shop disposals, acquisitions and rent reviews. The tmi team has consistently transacted volumes in excess of national rivals and is regularly shortlisted for property industry investment awards.
